Operating Hours: Open year round. The park closes at dusk (though some of us continue to ride it into the night be aware you may be ticketed).
Facilities Onsite: Restroom, hand-pump water, and picnic tables at the trailhead.

Driving Directions: Take I-70 west to Highway 26 (next exit West past C-470), South to the parking lot (on the right, large brown signs.)
Favorite Path: Cross the highway immediately out of the parking lot and climb to the top of Dakota Ridge. Ride the ridge until you have to descend, then pick the trail up again on the other side. Take a right at the fork near the rock formations (the left leads to the Morrison Slide which is much more technical.)
Area Details: Single-track trail that crosses the highway, climbs up and over Dakota Ridge (aka "The Hogback"), then descends back to the highway and picks up again on the other side, riding along Red Rocks park.
