» How do you display code snippets in MS Word preserving format and syntax highlighting? The inserting of "OpenDocument Text" is fantastic, it preserved the output of the tree command on one of my servers.     #

» Breathe Slowly. If you need a visual indicator for mindful breathing this is perfect.     #

» Marp - Markdown Presentation Writer. Write slides (think "PowerPoint") in Markdown and use for a presentation. I love the idea of using just text to write these things...     #

» RINNIG Pinball Simulator. Awesome, I want one.     #

» Making DIY LED Fixtures. Costco has some shop light LED fixtures that regularly go on sale, I'll probably just pick up one or two of those to fill in the dim spots. I do like the idea though.     #

» HART: Homeland Security’s Massive New Database Will Include Face Recognition, DNA, and Peoples’ “Non-Obvious Relationships”. I wish we had some right to privacy in this country.     #

» How to Poop In a RESTOP Bag. They have some of these in Clear Creek Canyon (specifically at Canal Zone) and they have kept the area clean, I think it's a great idea.     #

» Envolysis, a wifi sensor without solder (just wires and a breadboard) to monitor various things.     #

» Hiker Trailers. I like them but I'm still in awe of how much they cost.     #

» A terminal emulator for CygWin. The suggestion for screen didn't work for me (permissions issues), however using git for picocom and just compiling/running works great! In case that page goes away, it's this:

git clone; cd picocom && make

./picocom -b 115200 /dev/ttyS7

» 6 Card Games Every Man Should Know. Time to get learnin'!     #

» Awesome Linux Software. That's quite a list.     #

» Clink, Powerful Bash-style command line editing for cmd.exe. I've lamented the lack of history across cmd sessions for a while now (especially bad on work laptops where you may end up doing command line stuff and never have a record of what you've done...)     #

» Page.REST, an API for scraping websites. Costs $5 a year for access which I think is pretty reasonable.     #

» GnuBee Personal Cloud 2. I like the idea, I wonder how that exposed PCB would handle being in my basement (where it gets dusty...)     #
