» Empty industrial barrels bought on Craigslist present deadly dangers. Yikes, I've bought a couple off Craigslist...     #

» Linear Track Makes Plasma Cuts Neat And Simple. More complicated than my typical "clamp some angle iron on the piece and cut" but I bet it makes more precise cuts...     #

» Why Do I Procrastinate? The website will walk you through a series of questions so you can understand why you are putting something off. Neat idea.     #

» Ikea Tradfri Hacking. I like the idea of it but I decided it was just cheaper and easier to get a couple of Z-Wave light bulbs straight from Monoprice and do the control out of Home Assistant running on my Rasberry Pi...     #

» Fauxmo - Emulated Belkin WeMo devices that work with the Amazon Echo. Basically make your ESP or Arduino micro-controller projects look like a WeMo device that an Echo can control.     #

» No Wheels: Meet the Camper That Rides on Your Hitch. Interesting, but $4500??     #

» Barrier is a "software KVM", lets you share multiple systems on a single keyboard and mouse. I've been using Synergy for a while (actually donated to the project) but I really don't like the direction they are taking the 2.0 version (requiring internet access for a LAN-only tool is insane to me). Barrier is a fork of the old 1.x Synergy code and it works well except I noticed on my laptop (the client) the screen never goes to sleep. I'll dig for a fix but that just seems odd...     #

» PiSwitch: Build your own Nintendo Switch-style console. Neat!     #

» Born Sexy Yesterday, solid exploration of the topic, it's kind of amazing how many places you see this trope.     #

» How do you display code snippets in MS Word preserving format and syntax highlighting? The inserting of "OpenDocument Text" is fantastic, it preserved the output of the tree command on one of my servers.     #

» Breathe Slowly. If you need a visual indicator for mindful breathing this is perfect.     #

» Marp - Markdown Presentation Writer. Write slides (think "PowerPoint") in Markdown and use for a presentation. I love the idea of using just text to write these things...     #

» RINNIG Pinball Simulator. Awesome, I want one.     #

» Making DIY LED Fixtures. Costco has some shop light LED fixtures that regularly go on sale, I'll probably just pick up one or two of those to fill in the dim spots. I do like the idea though.     #
