Looking North to Yacaaba Head from the summit of Tomaree Head. Interesting story the dolphin boat captain told us, the spit of land used to actually be a forest that extended south into the bay. The first colonists cut the trees down for housing. Then they let the cattle graze on the grasses that grew. Then the water came in and washed the entire chunk of land away...
