Not long ago Greg proposed that we head down to Ouray to check out their Ice Park and get in some climbing. I was game so we headed down in the middle of February for a couple days. The ice park is awesome, I think it was one of the best ideas any town council has ever had. Most areas are very accessible with just a short hike from the hotel, and the ice ranges from easy slopes to serious mixed routes with vertical ice. I just hope they don't use sewage water to feed the area, I know I swallowed more than my share of ice chips in the two days we climbed....
